About

Art that belongs to its space.

Ashleigh is a Brisbane-based mural artist creating engaging, community-driven artwork. Each piece is designed around clean, bold shapes and a considered palette — work that feels striking up close and reads beautifully from across the street.

Every mural is shaped to its wall, working with the windows, doors and quirks already there. The result is artwork that looks effortless, sits naturally in the space, and is built to last.

FAQ

Common questions

The things people most often ask before commissioning a mural.

How much does a mural cost in Brisbane?
Every wall is different, but as a rough guide most custom murals start from around $1,500 for a small interior feature and scale up from there based on size, complexity and access. After our first chat I'll send a clear, itemised quote — no surprises.
What affects the price of a mural?
The biggest factors are the size of the wall, how detailed the design is, the surface and condition of the wall, and access (e.g. whether scaffolding or a scissor lift is needed). Exterior murals also include weather-grade materials and protective sealing.
How long does a mural take to paint?
Small interior pieces can be finished in 1–2 days. Larger exterior or community murals typically run 4–10 days on-site, plus a week or two beforehand for design and approvals.
Do you paint both interior and exterior murals?
Yes. I paint interior feature walls (homes, kids rooms, cafés and hospitality) as well as exterior murals on businesses, community buildings and public-facing walls across Brisbane and South-East Queensland.
Will I see the design before you start painting?
Always. I sketch a considered concept tailored to your wall and audience, then you sign off on the final artwork, palette and timeline before a brush touches the wall.
How long does an exterior mural last?
With quality exterior-grade paints and a protective anti-graffiti or UV sealer, a well-maintained outdoor mural typically looks great for 8–12+ years. North-facing walls in full sun age fastest; sheltered walls last longer.
Do you travel outside Brisbane?
Yes — I regularly take projects across South-East Queensland and am happy to travel further afield for the right commission. Travel and accommodation are quoted transparently up front.
How do I get started?
Send an enquiry through the contact form with a few details about your wall, your audience and the feeling you're after. I'll be in touch within a couple of business days to talk it through.
